You can find the Amarillo information, as well as lots of other Philmont
travel stuff at:
http://www.troop764.org/Philmont/phil_transportation.html

"For those starting to make Philmont travel plans, remember Troop 80. They
have a really nice building in Amarillo, Texas, for your overnight stay at
just $3.00 dollars per night. They start taking reservations on 1/1/2004.
You can contact their Council office at (806) 358-6500 and they will put you
in touch with the troop. Or e-mail TROOP 80 -- Terry Slade."

I am trying to locate the person who offers his Scout Hut as a layover
for other Troops traveling to Philmont. If anyone has any information,
please contact me via email or call me at 817-415-6896. Thanks for
everyone's help.
