Our troop has stayed at the Jack Bryant Scout Center during a couple of
trips to either Philmont or Colorado. It can be rather noisy if there
is a large group of people spending the night. They do provide a
separate sleeping area for females.
Bottom line...our Scouts haven't been bothered by the noise. Several
adults (including me) have been and wound up sleeping in vehicles.
We've never stayed at the Kwahadi hostel so I don't have a report on that
facility.
During recent years, some of our travelers have camped at Palo Duro
Canyon State Park near Amarillo, and been entertained by the "Texas" epic
