Per the 2004 Philmont Guidebook to Adventure:

Youth 10 day fishing license, ages 13-17, cost determined by the state of NM - about $1.50, applies only to Philmont property.

Adult fishing license: 1-day, 5-day, or annual - cost determined by the state of NM, about $9.00, $17.00, $40.00 (non-resident).

The fishing licenses are available for purchase at the Tooth of Time Traders in base camp. Not available in back country as far as I know.

Wish I was going this year (13 months and counting). Can't wait to hear the reports from crews. It's day 2 of season!

We are going on trek #11 which includes time at fish camp. Does anyone know what the cost of the fishing licenses are, and can they be purchased at Philmont?
