Does anyone have a complete listing of their first aide kits they carry to
Philmont. I am carrying two different types one for feet (blister kit) and
the other a complete First Aide Kit. Just completed WFA and realize I need
to beef my kits up.

I took the WFA course last winter; it was an excellent training experience.
My first aid kit is listed below. Each member of our crew carries their own
moleskin and a few bandages for self-maintenance of blisters and other small
injuries. It's not the lightest most efficient way to go, but it gives us a
ready supply of the #1 first aid consumable at Philmont and makes the guys
largely self-reliant on the trail.
I carry everything else in my kit. I've packed it to be pretty inclusive
rather than lightweight - it's not just for Philmont, but for other troop
outings, my cub scout den, and my family. It weighs 53 oz. and fits into a
(large) side pocket on my pack. This is my share of the crew equipment. I
used to have two small first aid kit bags to fit it all, but invariably what
I wanted was always in "the other bag". We were doing a first aid drill on
one of our shakedown hikes this spring and the scout who went for "the first
aid kit" in my pack brought only one even though I'd showed them the two
bags. I found an OR organizer bag at REI (10" x 5" x 3") which holds
everything, has a lot of compartments, and fits my pack.
It's more than most folks will want to carry. But Murphy's Law assures me
that if I bring it all, I won't need to use any of it. That's justification
enough.
