You need to know just what he will be doing at this camp. From what you've
said, I'm assuming that he is ~11 years old and attending a traditional summer
camp. If that is the case, he will probably need little more than a daypack
(other than the footlocker he packs in). He will use this to carry his
meritbadge classwork and '10 essentials' around with him during the day.
