I found a pair of zip-offs on sale at REI a year or so ago. Made by
exofficio (see www.exofficio.com), they're 100% nylon and have built-in mesh brief
like a bathing suit. Unless they're on sale, they will give you sticker shock.
Light weight, quick drying, and long pants if/when you need them. I didn't
need the long pants at Philmont in July '03, but had them just in case.
