Subject: [Philmont]: pacemaker
One of my associate advisors had a pacemaker installed a couple weeks
ago. He is again out training full force, but we aren't quite sure how
to handle the obstruction now on his shoulder relative to his backpack
strap. Anyone on the list solved this problem?

You might try one of those sheepskin seat belt/shoulder strap "wraps".
My mother has a pacemaker and uses one when she drives. His doctor
might offer more advise.
BUT - if the implant was as recent as a couple of weeks ago, I would get
in touch with the Med Staff at Philmont pronto and discuss the matter,
if you haven't already. It would be a shame to make the trip for
nothing.
Happy Trails,
Roy Fisher
