My number one son has all of the above, no down, but a 20 degree synthetic bag, a jansport external, splitting a 6 pound or so tent, including a knife, (leatherman micra), bottle of bug spray, (brother carries sunscreen), parachute cord, rain cover, 3 nalgene bottles empty, knit cap, space blanket, compass, 3 tshirts, 1 long sleeved tshirt, 3 shorts, 4 changes socks, 3 sock liners, (wears one change of clothes), tennis shoes for camp, first aid kit, hygiene kit, headlamp, small 1 battery flashlight as backup, fleece jacket, rain suit (jacket and pants, a bit heavy, they came from walmart), cup bowl spoon, salt/pepper, 2 bandannas, pack cover, extra plastic baggies, sleeping pad, coleman chair (about a 2 pounder), extra batteries (AAA), weighs in at 31 pounds without water, food, crew gear. Will be less than that with one change of clothes being worn (should be about 30 pounds). We could get less but we like it. Realisticlly, if we wanted, we could get that down to about 27
pounds, but we like the creature comforts.

Assuming the added sleeping bag and pad, how about:
- matches
- sunscreen / bug spray
- rain cover for pack
- tent
- rope or nylon cord
- what do you carry water in?
