Don't plan on having any kind of power source available to recharge
batteries. Most staff camps operate off of solar panels which power the
water pump, two-way radio and their refrigerator - that's it. Even the
backcountry staffers have no way to charge batteries or cell phones. Bring
plenty of spare batteries if you think you'll need them...
