I guess my list needs more tweaking! I use three one quart canteens to carry water. I didn't count a tent as personal gear, because traditionally, we have shared the troop tents, with two people splitting the weight of the tent between them. My list was only to be composed of stuff that I would use for myself personally. I do have a pack cover, matches, and sunscreen. I never used bugspray last time I was at Philmont, it wasn't necessary. The rope/nylon cord was part of the troop gear for hanging the bear bags.
The incomplete list is what happens when you attempt to remember everything you brought at 12:30 at night!
