One of the dads in our troop is a very good amature photographer. He
brought a couple light and an American flag backdrop. We had some basic
packages that they could choose from. We had all scouts come and get a
picture taken for the website photo directory. We took several poses of
course. We would then take the memory card and put the pictures up on a
computer right there for them to choose from. Everyone got a free picture
posted on the website, but by having everyone pose, we got lots of orders
that we might not have otherwise. They could then choose a package deal. we
had a printer set up so they could get a 4X6 right there and the rest we
collected for and put in an order with a photo lab and had the pictures
printed and shipped to their house. We spent maybe 4 hours on the whole
event including set up and clean up. We actually cleared about $950 after
all was said and done. Not bad for 4 hours work. Tony Matisi,Troop 8787 in
Austin TX.
