The talus rubble is more to the S.W. of Copper Park and comes off of Baldy
Mtn.
The trail from Greenwood Canyon drops down into Cooper Park from the ridge
that is on the North side of Cooper Park camp.
The last time I came down, it was mostly dirt and lots trees, with the trail
marked with Engr. tape tied to the trees. We used the trees as hand-holds.
We all slipped at least once, lost or footing on the downhill and just sat
down since our feet slipped out from under us. Slow, careful and patient is the
only way to come down from that ridge.
