Re: [Philmont]: Reports

Hey All,
News from the Ranch. Currently camping at Mount Phillips and also at
Comanche peak is restricted due to snow. In addition, Baldy Mountain has
been closed to hiking though the camp is still running. The trails were
covered over the winter and the snow has yet to melt enough for safe travel.
Also, mosquitoes have been quite bad in some parts of the ranch due to
increased standing water over the ranch as a whole. All in all, things are
very green and water is plentiful. Backcountry campfires are just getting
started but early reports are good. See you at the ranch.
