[Philmont]: Book for the trail

Hi:

For a book on how bad it can get, there's always
"Into Thin Air." Cascading mistakes on Everest lead to a disastrous climb.

"Into the Wild" is also a good read.

Lots of lessons in both books about what not to do in the wilderness.
