[Philmont]: Fathers tenting with sons

In a perfect world, a crew would have an even number of youth members and
an even number of each sex, if it is a mixed crew. In that case, youth
tenting with youth is the preferred method. When the number breakout is
not even, I personably would let the crew chief talk to each crew member
and work out the sleeping arrangements. If the son and father wish to tent
together and it keeps the crew from having a youth member tent alone, then
I see no reason why that should not be acceptable.

Having one or more crew members sleep alone will may increase the weight of
crew tents, but that is also not a given.

Discuss all of the options, then make the decision on what is best for the
crew and the crew members.
