In '02 we also we just steps behind a small group of wild turkeys that
continued on the trail zigzagging back and forth until our pacemaker scout got a
little too close. The turkeys then scattered into the brush.
I agree with Dan, this is one of the more entertaining and scenic trails.
The frequent crossings just kept everyone alert and looking forward to the next
crossing.
