my crew is also on Trek #12, we are crew 7-24-07 T

when will you be there????

In 2003 we hiked FROM Blk Mt camp to North Fork Urraca, no problem crossing the stream. Agree about the amount of fish too. My crew counted each crossing in Spanish to pass the time. Looking forward to hiking the other direction this summer.Kim Pigorsch Philmont '99, '03, '07 (724-T) Troop 681 Outdoor Chairmun (sic) www.troop681.com - troop website www.sdicbsa.org - Council Website San Diego, CA

Our crew is doing Trek #12 this summer. On Day 5 we hike from Miner's Park, up North Fork Urraca Creek, to Black Mountain Camp. I remember a trail will about 50 stream crossings being discussed on the list in the past.

Is this the trail with lots of stream crossings?

What are your memories of hiking this trail?

Would gaiters have been helpful?
