Our '95 crew went from Black to Miner's. That was very early in the
season and we had to move a lot of logs and rocks to construct "bridges"
across the creek. None of us wore gaiters and I don't remember having wet
feet (at least not that particular day). One of our Scouts counted the
crossings and I seem to remember he came up with 53. He was the same
Scout who insisted on reading the detailed information about the food in
each package. He wound up with a degree from Texas Tech with a major in
public relations and a minor in Japanese. Can you imagine speaking
Japanese on the High Plains of Texas?
