[philmont] travel plans

we have just decided to drive to Philmont rather than take Amtrak from So.
California this July and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on
places to stop we are planning on taking 3 days to get there.

In addition we still have 2 slots on our crew open, if anyone knows any
elgible scout in So. California that would like to join contact me
