Well, since I got it going pretty good on the innies vs outies, I thought I's stirr the pot some more.
The Frogg Togg ripoff.
Each year several, maybe a lot of people discover the great lightweight rainwear in the sky called Frogg Toggs.
I know, I know, "they worked for me".
Frogg Toggs are nothing more than glued up scraps of Tyvek left over from building a house.
And you pay around $70.00 for a suit.
For a few dollars less, you can buy a coated nylon rainsuit that will serve you a lot better.
For a few dollars more you can buy aGore Tex nlyon rainsuit that will serve you even a lot better.
And both are just as lightweight as Frogg Toggs.
When Frogg Toggs started showing up at Philmont they had to order more trash cans to hold all of the used up, ripped and discarded Frogg Toggs.
But they worked for somebody. I just wonder what their definition of "worked" is/was. Surely it wasn't keeping them dry in the rain.
There are a lot better rain suits out there. Don't be snickerdoodled.
But if you want to be really cool, go to a campfire program dressed in your Frogg Toggs and Crocks. The staff will think that Tinkerbell has just arrived.
Field that one Pholks!
