There are kid/Scouts that will take care of theirs and others stuff like it was a newborn baby adn then there are the others and every variety in between.

I'm sure we all remember from our youth the kid that couldn't approach a cooking fire without kicking dirt into the pot?

And speaking of stargazing from inside your tent. Timberline used to make an accessory or replacement tent that had the same floor as the regular tent only the roof was made completely of netting. You used it with the regular fly for superior ventilation on hot summer nights or alone for bug free stargazing on buggy nights.

There is nothing more awe inspiring than sleeping under the stars and waking up in the middle of the night staring into the heavens alone with your thoughts and the dark and the quiet while everyone else is asleep.
