I, too, can confirm that 2002 was crackermania. And 2004 was gorpmania
(with regular and tropical). Not sure what 2007 holds in store for us.....

John LeBlanc writes...
For a number of years, crews wrote on their evaluations, "not enough food",
so in 2002 they upped the amount of food issued.
I haven't kept up in the last couple of years, but if it is the same
caloric content as 2002, your have to be a garbage disposal to consume all
they issue you.
Comment...

2002 - that was Crackermania, wasn't it?

Been some hiccups since then, but the quantities (at least in my opinion)
are more realistic.  I was going to say you can compare the "too much" 2002
menu with the current on Selden's pages -
http://www.lns.cornell.edu/~seb/philmont.html#2.4.7 since all since 1998
except for 2001 are posted there, but several of the older links, including
2002, are broken.
John's "Crawfish for the Trail" is there, though!
