that time they were fenced in. If memory serves, there were two locations
for the prints, both on the same trail but each some distance from the
other.
I remember at the time that my wife said one of the staffers in the
spouse's program said that the footprints were fenced in because they are
extremely valuable and that fossil poachers may attempt to steal them. I'm
sure the vandalism thing was also a consideration.
