Hmmmm, I took a look at the drought map. Hey, who am I to argue with the
USDA, NOAA, and the other federal agencies whose data goes into this map....
cause I'm not in the weather business or ag business, or any of these
prediction businesses. I just live in Kansas. What I find very odd is that
parts of Kansas are white, "normal" and in that very area is some of the
hardest-hit communities & rural areas in our state. There are several small
towns that have run_out of water, rivers are dyring up, etc... the drought
is so severe; and this is_not "normal". Causes me to wonder where this
prediction data has come from & how accurate it is for the rest of the
country.
