Some threads seem to hang around for ever, I'm going to add a few cents to
the backpack thread. I am fortunate to live close to the Eureka Tent / Camp
Trails Factory Store in Binghamton, New York needless to say I know those
brands well. If anyone lives within driving distance to Binghamton, check
out this web site http://www.eurekacampingctr.com/ or contact me directly.
On my last trek my wife served as our female advisor for our coed trek. We
purchased her a Camp Trails - Nightsong pack. The Nightsong is advertised
as being designed for a woman, I believe the center of gravity is different
than a mans pack. She was very pleased with this pack and had plenty of
room and pockets.
Chip Only 137 days until I'm at Philmont
PS Has anyone heard any pre-published information on the 2002 Treks as to
how they compared to the 2001 treks?
