Thanks to those of you who provided CORRECT information about the location
of Ponderosa Park Camp, which IS along the trail from Upper Clarks Fork Camp
to Shaefers Pass Camp.

As best I can determine it is near
UTM 13 495971E 4034414N - TOOTH OF TIME quad www.topozone.com

Shame on those of you who said it was Ponderosa Camp and not on the trail I
described.

This points out one of the failings of a discussion list like this. Often
there are well-meaning, professed experts, who really aren't. If you are not
absolutely sure of your information, before responding perhaps it would be
best to wait a day or two to see how the thread develops.

I know everyone wants to be helpful, and that's wonderful, but PLEASE, be
sure your information is correct. There are many Philmont novices who depend
on getting accurate data from this list.

Misinformation is much worse than no information.

Going back to God's country in 2002!

Thanks!

YIS,
