We were there June 11th in 2000. The base camp temprature fell to the high
40's the night before we left. Otherwise, it was pleasent. 70's during the
day, 50's at night. Above 9,000 ft, it was colder. Low 60's by day (which
is great when your hiking with 40 lbs on your back) and high 40's at night.
We had almost no rains. I think the monsoons come in July. On top of
Phillips and Comanche Peak, it went down to 37 degrees with 20 knot winds.
The wind chill figured at 15 degrees. We sent out at 8:00 AM and within 5
minutes were taking off jackets and hiking in shorts.
Being from Florida, this cool weather is great. We'll take it any day.

PS Going back with a coed crew this June 10th.
