Just to show that one size doesn't fit all, our crew did Bear Caves/Crater Lake to Beaubien back in '99 & did Trail Peak on the way, with packs, up the old trail on the SE side. For those not familiar with it, that is the road/trail that was bulldozed str
 aight up the side for recovery efforts when the B-24 crashed in 1942.
 
Our crew catepillared all the way up. It was tough but we made it as a crew. The boys still remember that as one of the significant accomplishments of their trek.
