Polar Pure runs something like $9 a bottle and each bottle can treat
2000 quarts, if I remember correctly. That's probably a lot cheaper
than tablets are. Polar Pure is convenient because when you run out,
you simply fill the bottle with water and in an hour it's good to go
again. If you run out of tablets, you're out of luck. In my opinion,
it works just fine and, like Coop, I prefer it over filters simply
because of the time saved versus pumping water for everyone in the crew.
