Trek Selection

If you aren't going for the Program, you should just hike in the Sierras; it's prettier & they have better-graded trails.

Our process was to use the Danyoder trek selection tool @ www.danyoder.com. The two crews (split up by ability/interest to hike shorter or longer) chose their top 5 Program topics, we plugged them into the trek selection tool, then mitigated the results (n
o one wanted to go mountainbiking for TWO days, Trek #2 had two rockclimbing periods, etc.) Once we got the 2002 trek guide we met quickly to see how things changed, took 30 minutes to adjust the results & sent the card in.
