Yea, I had to laugh when Philmont downgraded Trek 30 from a superstrenuous to a strenuous hike and shortened the distance from 83 miles to 69 two years ago. I've done that trek three times now and I believe that it is the second hardest trek at Philmont.
Trek 33 takes the cake for being the most insane with hiking from Santa Claus to Baldy Town on Day 8 and then over Baldy either returning to Baldy Town and going thru Ewell Park to Peublano or going down the back north side of Baldy with full packs thru
