Check the Philmont messageboard link from www.philmont.com There have bee
a LOT of postings on that one in the past two months or so. If I remember
correctly, the recommendation is to mail them ahead of time so they'll be

Hello Philmont trekkers,
My troop group is off to Philmont this August, 2002. Does anyone
know the new rules or have practical suggestions regarding getting our
stoves there, given the most recent and justifiable concerns about fuel
on passenger jets? Much obliged for some tips.
