We were looking at some treks that included burro
packing, and saw on the Philmont map that there are
some better hikes if you don't take the burros. I
wanted to know if you had to take the burros if they
are on your intinerary because I heard Philmont needs
them to go to one camp, so they can come back in the
opposite direction and be available for all crews.
Although we have already made our trek selection, we
wanted to know so we could decide which hike to take. Thanks.
