We were supposed to have the burros the last time we were there but the
staff discouraged us from taking them. We were about half way through the
trek and after many days of meatless short rations, all the crew had this
funny hungry look in their eyes. We told the staff we only needed one
burro but noting that we already had out our forks and knives, they turned
us away.
