Kirk has been to Philmont before, but things have changed substantially since September 11th. Unless you have it guaranteed from your airline that you can take stoves in your packs, don't do it. I watched as the airline folks confiscated stoves from a si
 ster crew at the airport. Even though the Coleman Extremes do not have an integral fuel container, the stoves may not make it with the new screening policy.
