A couple of reasons to take burros=0D=0A=0D=0A1. Many "city" scouts m=
ay never have had the opportunity or will have, to experience a pack =
animal. Gets back to principal of "growing well-rounded" young men.=
=0D=0A=0D=0A2. Also gives the scouts the opportunity to inter-act wit=
h 'some one' that may be just as perplexing as themselves.=0D=0A=0D=
=0A3. Nothing can be more satisfying than watching your crew figure o=
ut how to get the burro to keep moving. I was fortunate enough last y=
ear to have met someone that grew up on a farm, and told me the "secr=
et" to keeping the burro moving. Tried to relay the message, but, sco=
uts will be scouts.=0D=0A=0D=0AGlenn Garrett=0D=0AOcconeechee Council=
