According to the 2002 Guidebook to Adventure, single-person tents are permitted in the event of an odd number of people in the crew. Bivvies are strictly
prohibited.

If you get cold at night, I recommend wearing long underwear along with a stocking cap. If you have a decent sleeping bag, you shouldn't need an excessive amount
of warm clothing. Never wear the same clothes that you wear during the day. If you wore that jacket during dinner, you certainly don't want to be wearing it to
bed.

An interesting question. We had an advisor in our 1996 crew that always insisted on using "indoor plumbing". However, I would discourage it since the salt in
urine tends to attract animals. I'm interested to see what other people think and if anyone has tried it before...
