I second the point and shoot 35 mm Olympus water resistant with the zoom
lens. I used one in 1996 and took some wonderful photos. I wish I had
brought more film, and had taken more photos of each campsite. It gets hard
visualizing each of the places we camped without photos to refresh my mind's
eye.
