Black Horse Camp is on the SW side of Ute Creek Valley while Baldy Skyline Camp is on the NE side of the valley. At the recent PSA East Coast Reunion, Mark Anderson (Philmont Director of Program) mentioned that well had been dug at Baldy Skyline with enou
gh flow to support a future staff camp there.
On July 4, 2000 we were on top of Baldy to watch the fireworks in Eagles Nest. An OA trail crew was also up there who had been working on the trail to Black Horse Camp. Was your son there?
