Kevin's at it again, understating the training center experience.

Like Wood Badge, PTC is a "mountain top" experience, but one for the whole family. No matter what you take at PTC, you leave inspired.

For all who are considering a conference/ family trip to Philmont Training Center in 2002:

There's no question in my mind that PTC offers some of the most dynamic training you'll ever be exposed to as a Scouter.

However, even if the training was merely par for the course, the beauty of the area, the fellowship you'll enjoy with others, and moments like my daughter enjoyed the other night 19 months after PTC 'ended', say to me that a family trip to PTC would still
 be worth very serious consideration.

who believes that although a PTC conference may end after a week, the memories and benefit of being there is like da Energizer bunny ... they just keep going and going and going and going ....
