"What happened to Pemmican Bars? I'm going to feel lost without them...at
least they have pilot biscuits."
I just saw two products I know as Pemmican Bars and Meal Packs in a natural
food store. It brought back memories of Philmont. If you have a natural
food store near your home you could import a few for the trail.
They are not as available as they were a few years back but they are still
out there. If I hadn't seen them at Philmont last year and again in that
store I would have thought they were no longer available.
Incidentally our troop uses "Nabisco Royal Lunch Crackers" in our trail
lunches as a super market replacement for pilot biscuits.
