I did set up a list archive based on my subscription at

there is a search engine for it at

The above is the only source I am aware of for postings older than 21
days. Postings within the past 21 days are available for all lists at
  http://www.iss.westhost.com/kb/usssp_l_kb/

You can change the setting for the period (previous day, previous 3, etc.)
you want to reduce the number of messages displayed.
