Terry,

Baldy Camp....it is hard to find a level spot for all your tents as its
built on the side of the mountain. With the layover at Baldy Camp we hike
Baldy early in the morning from the Baldy Camp side and then went down the
other side so we could do program at the mine and French Henry (everyone
really enjoyed the mine and gold panning). It makes for a long day but it
can be done. Leave French Henry and hike back around the base of the
mountain back to Baldy.
We went down from Baldy to Head of Dean so your trek will be going
up....some climbs but a lot of scenary on the way.
We got rained out of rock climbing at Cimarroncito but they have an indoor
climbing wall the the guys had a good time at.
Harlen is a nice camp with some pretty good rock scrambling close by.
