RE: [Philmont]: Trek 31

My post office told me upfront that that part of New Mexico was a
two-day delivery. But it was still the fastest way since I couldn't get
to a FedEx center till the next day. Ours was mailed Tuesday at 4:57 pm
and received at Philmont today, March 27 at 10:33 am. We haven't heard
yet about our trek. Hoping for an email tomorrow.

In response to the US Postal Service not living up to their promise of
next
day delivery, we had the same problem. Sent out 3 council contingent
itinerary cards on Saturday, guaranteed Monday 3:00 delivery. Two were
sent
from the same town at different times, one from a few counties away. All
three just arrived at Philmont today. The Pony Express must be back.
Fortunately we all got our first choices. Unfortunately for the Post
Office
they lost some money and future business.
