Thanks for the great shopping advice - I am personally looking for a BIGGER
sleeping bag! I am bigger than the average adult Scouter (at least most). I
am like a circus - I get bigger and better every year! Love this LIST!
Thanks again! YIS: Jerry Bailey, CM P

I have purchased many items for SG. No problems over the years. However, it
is usually something like cookware or other accessories.

I have purchased tents and sleeping bags from a company called ALPS
Mountaineering. Very good quality, good people to work with too. Plus they
give a nice discounts to scouts. Check out their WEB site at
www.alpsmountaineering .com.

I bought two bags that I my son and I took to Philmont in 2001. They still
look like new, plus they come with a compression sack.

Received a catalogue from Sportsmen's Guide and was wondering if anyone has
any experience with this firm. They have a Ultralite sleeping bag that
weighs 1.5 lbs and is supposedly rated to 30 degrees. If anyone has bought
anything from them, let me know what your satisfaction of their products
was.
