I just attended a talk by the well-known paddler and author Cliff Jacobson
in Lansing, Michigan. He endorsed those same Coleman ziploc bags in the
part of his talk he called "What I've learned this year." Cliff also stated
in no uncertain terms to double-bag everything, even when using those bags.
If you ever have a chance to hear Cliff speak, you won't be disappointed.
If not, check out his long list of books, DVDs, videos, etc. at your local
outfitter or at amazon.com.
