RE: [Philmont]: Trek Cards - FedEx ok?

I opted for USPS Express overnight for about $13. The clerk told me
straight up that it would not likely get there until Monday. I asked
about Priority mail, which would have run about $3-$4 I believe, and he
said he could not guaranty a Monday delivery with Priority mail. Would
First Class postage arrived on Monday? Maybe. Would we still have
gotten our first choice had it arrived on Tuesday or Wednesday? Maybe.

But I decided that to spend the extra $10 bucks to make sure I did
everything I could to help ensure we had our best shot at our top
choices. Frankly, since we're all first timers, I think even a "last"
choice trek would still be an outstanding adventure. As others have
said, "There are no bad treks at Philmont."
