Philmont Pholks:
No, I have not yet gotten a response to my trek selection card and so I cannot say "I didn't get my #1 choice",
but someone on the list recently opined that all of us who *are* on this list will probably do okay with their choices, better than others who may not be aware of this list, who are not as diligent about returning their card, etc.
Okay, let's test that theory.
As you receive your trek selection confirmation, if you did *not* get your #1 choice, then please tell the list, and if you have an idea as to why:
- My TREKS packet arrived after many others had already received theirs (like Monday March 22 or later)
- I didn't return my card immediately
- I used ordinary US Postal Service mail versus some expedited delivery service
- We made some pretty popular choices (we got our #4 or #5)
- Anything else?
