RE: [Philmont]: Height & Weight

Art, while attending in 2002, I made a promise to myself (on the third day)
that I would be 30 lbs less on my next trek. This was my 2nd trip to the
ranch, and I suffered being at the maximum weight. Our troop wasn't
successful at obtaining a trek at Philmont this summer, so the masses are
traveling to Seabase this summer, but a small handful of us took the Double
H invite, and 4 of us adults are getting in shape now. I am within 7 lbs of
my goal of being 30 under last time, and I suspect I will have a MUCH better
time.

BTW, being a 49 year old desk jockey might be part of the problem.

Subject: [Philmont]: Height & Weight

I have been monitoring the emails very closely and I have gained I lot of
very useful info. So my questions, oh wise ones, are these:

 1) How close to max weights can an adult be? 220 on scale--214 by chart

2) Shoes on or off at weigh in?

3) How about a youth 5lbs under the min.

Many thanks and keep all info flowing.

Yis,
