First trip to Philmont in June. We are going on trek #21. Any comments on this trek would be appreciated.

My crew did 21 in 2001. See http://www.lns.cornell.edu/~seb/philmont-tr21-2002.html for my notes about it.
I generally agree with everything Kirk wrote EXCEPT sunrise from the Tooth - hiking across Tooth Ridge in the dark (especially if you have never done it before, but even if you have) is a disaster waiting to happen. Seeing sunrise from Schaefer's Peak is just as impressive, though I realize it isn't talking about it afterwards.
The change of Pueblano to Flume Canyon will add some miles, and if you take the burros a bit of a Logistical issue as you surely will not want to go Pueblano to get them the morning of Day 4 to bring them back to Flume Canyon to be loaded.
